Season of Deathstroke of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League delivers the final content updates for the game, bringing new features and enhancements. This season introduces Deathstroke as a playable character, alongside new melee weapons, Infamy sets, Notorious gear, and a fresh map called Elseworlds Mayhem. The season is divided into two episodesโEpisode 7: Control and Episode 8: Balanceโculminating in a battle against Brainiac.
After his last showdown and defeat against Batman, Slade Wilson, the worldโs greatest assassin, was lost. Trapped in Arkham Asylum and surrounded by common criminals, he had all the time in the world but nothing to do except confront his failure. Faced with a long list of demons to overcome, Wilson quietly disappeared to train and meditate. After months of intense work, Deathstroke realized he had nothing to proveโuntil Brainiac invaded Earth. When Amanda Waller approached him with a blank check to stop the invasion at its source, Deathstroke didnโt need to be asked twice. In every dimension the Squad has chased Brainiac to so far, he has already taken control of the Elseworld and terraformed it into his twisted vision. However, this time, something is different. Task Force X is catching up to Brainiacโs interdimensional conquest, and it appears he has only just arrived at this new Elseworld. This Elseworld reimagines Supermanโs hometown of Smallville as a medieval village, completely stripped of the advanced technology that empowers the modern-day Justice League. While the rest of the Squad may not think much of this Elseworldโpreferring jetpacks and explosives to swords and lancesโit seems Deathstroke has been busy making a name for himself in this land of chivalry and swordsmanship.
