The gameplay of Ookeenga is a combination of 3 genres that are common in the gaming community: Real-time Strategy, Collectible Card, and Tower Defense. Players will be placed with troops/active skills to attack the opponent on a battlefield. The match ends when: The player destroys the opponent's main house. Within 3 minutes, the match will automatically terminate the game and calculate the score based on the % remaining health of the Main-tower and Sub-towers. Whoever destroys the opponent's Main Tower shall immediately win the game. If time's up and the Main Tower still remains, which side destroys more towers will become the winner.

STORYLINE

Ookeenga's story begins in an ancient forest called Glaik (Sacred Forest - in bug language), where bugs live. In the center of the forest is the Khoom (Source Tree), the ancient tree that powers the whole forest. After the disaster known as Ookeenga (Orange Smoke), the beetle population split into two factions: Akhah (Purebred Bugs) and Ahika (Hybrid Bugs). The Akhah faction, who consider themselves pureblood aristocracy, under the leadership of Amoik (Holy Bug), drove the Ahika faction, the half-bloods, out of the Sacred Forest and monopolized the source of Oom (energy of the Source Tree). This has plunged the two factions into a never-ending war. In a world ﬁlled with chaos, the player - as a leader of the Ahika clan - will build forces, develop the tribe, and engage in ﬁerce battles for dominion over the Sacred Forest and the energy it gives.
