Gears Of Glory

Gears of Glory is a movement-based Tower Defense where you drive a van across the map to collect Gears, build powerful towers, and stop the robots from destroying your bases. Developed for PC, Gears of Glory combines classic Tower Defense strategy with a unique twist: driving a stylish van through the chaos of a post-apocalyptic world. Featuring a top-down pixel art look and fast-paced gameplay, the player takes on the role of a resistance pilot tasked with protecting the last human bases from hordes of robots that have taken over the planet and isolated humanity. To succeed, you’ll need skill behind the wheel, dodging obstacles or running enemies over. All while building towers with strategic synergies capable of turning the tide of battle. Speed, strategy and survival collide in this game where every turn can mean the difference between extinction and the salvation of humanity. The game’s inspiration comes from the desire to complement the Tower Defense genre and eliminate those idle moments where players would simply speed up the game after placing towers and wait. In Gears of Glory you are in constant motion driving the van to upgrade towers, collect Gears, and run enemies over. The gameplay and art are influenced by titles such as Gemcraft, Kingdom Rush, Thronefall, Rock and Roll Racing, Biker Mice from Mars, GTA2.
