Code Tycoon is a tycoon simulation that traces the history of software development across four decades. Starting in 1980 with nothing but a computer and a garage, players build their own software company by taking on client projects, managing deadlines, hunting down bugs, and delivering working code on time and within budget. The game features over 20 historically authentic programming languages - from early pioneers like BASIC, Assembler, and COBOL to modern staples like Python - each with distinct strengths, weaknesses, and real-world applications.
